SACRAMENTO, CA (MPG) - March marks Disability Awareness Month, a time to celebrate the achievements, contributions and resilience of people with disabilities. It’s an opportunity to raise awareness, promote understanding and work toward a more inclusive world for everyone.
Disability Awareness Month is not just about recognizing the barriers that people with disabilities face but also celebrating the diverse talents and abilities they bring to every community, workplace and society. It’s a reminder to continue challenging stereotypes, breaking down barriers, and advocating for equality and accessibility.
Although United Cerebral Palsy started by serving children with Cerebral Palsy, United Cerebral Palsy today serves all individuals with developmental disabilities.
